Anouar Brahem - The Astounding Eyes of Rita (2009)

There is a strong affection between I and Anouar Brahem's music. It is a synthesis of eastern music and jazz, after my darling introduced me, I have found myself being addicted to Brahem pretty quickly. His music reminds me to the woman I love with all of my heart. Just like smelling someone's favourite perfume, when I'm listening to this oud virtuoso's songs, all the feelings and memories of my Love start to overwhelm my heart.
The music is a perfect analogy of her, combination of eastern and western elements. Mysterious yet so familiar, passionate yet serene. In one word, beautiful.
